About

Camp Nate was started for families who have suffered the loss of a child to cancer.  Nate Oxford, the camps namesake was a six year old boy who bravely fought brain cancer for four years.  Before his fight ended in early 2013, he and his family attended Camp Mati for three years.  Camp Mati was established for families who had a child battling cancer and who had recently finished treatment.  After Nate passed away, we realized the need for families to rebuild after suffering such a terrible loss.  We felt that Camp Nate would be the perfect place for families to find hope after loss and to rebuild families who have suffered so greatly.  Our hope is that your family will experience a week filled with remembrance and the opportunity to meet and build support networks with others who have had a child lose their battle to this terrible disease.
